Integration of BDAR and CCPA privacy policy compliance

The General Data Protection Regulation (BDAR), which April Agreed by the European Parliament and the Council in 2018. In the spring, it replaced the Data Protection Directive 95/46 / EC as the basic law governing how companies must protect the personal data of EU citizens . Google has also changed its ranking program for sites that comply with BDAR policies.

The following important changes will be integrated into your site to comply with BDAR guidelines:

• Add a highly customizable cookie message banner with a link to the privacy policy page and buttons to accept / reject / cancel the use of cookies.
• Add the option for site users to give explicit consent to the use of non-WordPress third-party tracking scripts and cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.). Users may accept such cookies for each cookie, as well as revoke their consent at any time.
• Add the “Don’t sell my personal information” link to the banner;
• We will add a form so that users of the site can request to download or delete their personal data stored in your site’s database (e.g., user’s email address, user comments, and orders placed through WooCommerce)
• Add a button to let site users delete their information from the site without prompting.
• Create a privacy policy page (with general / sample text about cookie usage, data export and removal request forms, etc.)

This service is completed within 2-3 business days. To enable Google Analytics opt-out, a customer must sign up for Google Analytics and provide their tracking code.
